About the Role
Vision University is a newly established, private, faith-based university located in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria. Granted its provisional operating licence by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023 and mentored by Lagos State University (LASU), we are committed to delivering world-class tertiary education grounded in strong moral and academic values. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Lecturer in Accounting to shape the minds of future financial leaders and contribute to our expanding Faculty of Management Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic quality assurance processes.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to foster professional and personal growth.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Must possess a Ph.D in Accounting or a closely related financial discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A strong portfolio of peer-reviewed academic publications in reputable journals.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN, ANAN, ACCA) is a distinct advantage.
