Our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team in Nigeria is currently looking for an experienced Senior ITTS Advisory professional to join our dynamic and multicultural team.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior ITTS Advisory specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the tax strategies of leading multinational enterprises. Your core duties will include:
- Advising multinational clients on cross-border restructuring, financing concepts, international group tax law, and foreign tax law.
- Providing expert tax structuring for corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
- Identifying tax risks during tax due diligence and actively participating in negotiations with sellers.
- Supporting multinational companies in the planning, implementation, and documentation of transfer pricing systems and cross-border value creation processes.
- Managing complex tax projects, coordinating various consulting assignments, and mentoring junior team members to foster their professional growth.
- Representing clients and providing strategic support during tax audits, mutual agreement procedures, and advance pricing agreements (APAs).
To qualify for this senior-level position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in international tax consulting, with a strong focus on transfer pricing or transaction projects.
- A relevant university degree in Economics, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as Chartered Tax Institute of Nigeria (CTIN) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with a precise, detail-oriented approach to complex tax problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, with an entrepreneurial mindset and clear career objectives.
