About the Role
Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited, a leading indigenous multidisciplinary organization offering premier Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation services in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, is seeking a dynamic and seasoned professional. We are looking for a qualified Senior Drilling Supervisor to join our offshore operations team, driving excellence and safety in all drilling activities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise all daily drilling, completion, and workover operations to ensure safe and efficient well delivery in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
- Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and risk assessments on the rig site.
- Manage rig site personnel, third-party service contractors, and operational logistics to minimize non-productive time and optimize project costs.
- Monitor drilling parameters, fluid properties, and downhole conditions closely, making timely adjustments as necessary to prevent incidents.
- Prepare accurate daily drilling reports, operational forecasts, and ensure proper inventory tracking of equipment and consumables.
- Collaborate closely with the onshore engineering and management teams to align operational execution with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in offshore drilling operations, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid industry certifications including IWCF/WELLCAP Supervisor Level, BOSIET, and HUET.
- Demonstrated expertise in deepwater or shallow water drilling techniques and modern rig equipment management.
- Strong leadership, crisis management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas industry regulations and offshore safety standards.
