About the Role
Shuttlers is a dynamic platform transforming the daily commute for professionals in the Lagos Metropolis by providing efficient shared transportation. We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Creative Designer to own our visual execution, set high creative standards, and mentor our growing design team under the direction of the Head of Product & Design.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will play a pivotal role in shaping our visual identity and ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. Your core responsibilities include:
- Set and uphold the visual standard across all brand work, providing creative direction and rigorous critique.
- Lead, coach, and develop Associate and Analyst designers through clear briefs, actionable feedback, and hands-on guidance.
- Develop and evolve the Shuttlers Visual System by turning recurring visual patterns into reusable grids, components, and templates.
- Own the concept, art direction, and execution of marketing campaigns, digital advertising, and promotional assets.
- Ensure consistent brand expression across physical event assets, signage, and product-adjacent graphics.
The ideal candidate brings exceptional craft, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of modern design systems:
- 6+ years of senior-level creative design experience across brand, marketing, or product-led environments.
- Mastery of vector-based design with fluid proficiency in Figma and Illustrator.
- Demonstrated experience building, scaling, and documenting comprehensive design systems.
- Proven track record of mentoring junior talent and elevating team output through constructive critique.
- Strong command of typography, composition, color theory, and art direction.
- Familiarity with motion design, video, and AI-assisted design tools is a strong plus.
