About the Role
eHealth Africa is looking for a talented and strategic Senior Coordinator, UI/UX Design to join our Software Engineering Department in Kano, Nigeria. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design of innovative digital health solutions like eHA Care and LoMIS, creating seamless, accessible experiences that empower health workers and improve public health outcomes across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of intuitive user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Translate complex public health objectives into wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
- Maintain and scale our comprehensive design system to ensure brand consistency and accessibility compliance.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to validate UI/UX elements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, translating insights into actionable, data-informed product enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 to 6 years of professional UI/UX or Product Design experience delivering complex web and mobile applications.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, user research, and shipped product outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience building scalable design systems.
- Professional certifications such as CPACC, IAAP, or recognized UX Design credentials are a strong plus.
