About the Role

As a Senior Content Designer, you will craft clear, engaging content that guides users seamlessly through our innovative financial products. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to enhance user experiences across all platforms, playing a pivotal role in shaping our brand voice and driving customer success across multiple African markets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct qualitative and quantitative customer research to validate content design and user flows.
- Own the point of view for features, products, and branding to achieve strategic business outcomes.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to communicate product value through storytelling.
- Write and edit user-focused UI text, labels, and instructional copy for complex financial services.
- Deliver exceptional UX writing across digital platforms and customer touchpoints.
- Act as a tone of voice consultant, providing guidance across all internal and external communications.
- Adapt language styles for localization and translation across our various operational markets.
- Partner with legal and regulatory teams to ensure all digital content strictly complies with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a UX writer, content designer, or copywriter within a tech or fintech environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in UX design principles and how content directly influences user behavior.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools and collaborative design software such as Figma.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a portfolio showcasing digital copywriting excellence.
