About the Role
Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited is an indigenous multidisciplinary organization offering Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation services in the oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Completion Engineer Advisor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this strategic role, you will provide high-level technical expertise and advisory support for complex well completion operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert technical advice and guidance on well completion, intervention, and workover operations.
- Design, plan, and optimize completion programs to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and well productivity.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including drilling, reservoir, and subsea engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Evaluate and recommend state-of-the-art completion equipment, tools, and technologies.
- Ensure all completion operations strictly adhere to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer across the technical team.
- Review contractor proposals, technical bids, and operational procedures for quality assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in well completion engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in offshore completion operations, tools, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas industry regulations and local content requirements.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Valid industry certifications such as IWCF or equivalent are highly desirable.
