About the Role
Evidence Action scales evidence-based programs that improve the lives of millions across the globe. We are looking for a Senior Associate, Program Data Analytics to join our Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) team for the West and Central Africa (WCA) sub-region. In this role, you will analyze cleaned program data, generate impactful visualizations, and supervise program data analysts to ensure our interventions deliver maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead statistical analysis, generating reports, visualizations, and publications from cleaned program data using Stata, R, or Python.
- Translate complex program analytical needs into decision-ready outputs and maintain oversight of MLE dashboards.
- Design and facilitate in-house mentorship and training sessions for MLE field teams on data visualization and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with program teams to ensure effective information flow and communication of evidence-based lessons learned.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage the professional development of at least one Program Data Analytics Associate.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to streamline analytical workflows and enhance productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline; a postgraduate degree is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in quantitative data analysis and generating high-quality reports.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages such as Stata, R, or Python.
- Demonstrated expertise with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and graphic design software like Canva or Adobe Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of mapping software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Fluent in English; working proficiency in French is highly desirable for Francophone WCA engagements.
