About the Role
Paystack is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to help build a world-class financial reporting and control function across Nigeria and our expansion markets. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting while building scalable processes that support our rapid growth across Africa's booming digital economy.
Key Responsibilities- Own the preparation of monthly management accounts across Nigeria and expansion entities, including full P&L and Balance Sheet review.
- Lead all balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accounts are fully supported and variances are resolved promptly.
- Oversee bank statement validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across multiple banking partners.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in Oracle ERP Cloud and other accounting systems.
- Lead audit preparation by developing schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, scalability, and speed.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or commercial finance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow analysis.
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and complex reconciliations.
