Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Prepare and review comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage the general ledger alongside accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform thorough bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, operational expenses, and overall financial health.
- Prepare accurate budgets, forecasts, and detailed variance analyses.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws and other regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and schedules.
- Establish, maintain, and review robust financial controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior accounting staff.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
- Active professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent body is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern ERP accounting software.
