About the Role
King's Gifts School, a reputable Christian day and boarding institution located in Ago Iwoye near Olabisi Onabanjo University, is seeking a diligent and vigilant Security/Traffic Warder. In this vital role, you will help maintain a secure, orderly, and God-centered environment conducive to effective learning and student welfare. Key Responsibilities- Monitor school premises, gates, and perimeters to prevent unauthorized access and ensure campus safety.
- Manage vehicular and pedestrian traffic during peak school hours, especially morning drop-offs and afternoon pickups.
- Guide students, parents, and visitors safely across designated crossing areas near the school grounds.
- Conduct routine security patrols and promptly report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or breaches.
- Enforce school security protocols and maintain a polite yet firm approach when dealing with visitors.
- Collaborate with local security networks and school management to address any emerging security concerns.
- Minimum of a Senior School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent professional security training certification.
- Proven work experience as a security officer, traffic warden, or in a similar safety-related role.
- Strong physical fitness, alertness, and the ability to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Integrity, reliability, and alignment with the Christian values and ethos of King's Gifts School.
- Familiarity with Ago Iwoye and proximity to the school location is an added advantage.
