About the Role
Beta Guards Security Limited (BSL) is a premier security solutions provider renowned for delivering reliable and efficient protection services across diverse sectors in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Supervisor to lead our security personnel, oversee daily site operations, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our clients' assets, managing access control, and ensuring a secure environment for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support the security team, assign officers to specific patrol areas, and monitor individual and team performance.
- Manage day-to-day security operations, implementing effective policies, patrol routes, and security equipment placement strategies.
- Conduct regular site patrols and inspections to identify potential hazards, security breaches, and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor CCTV systems for suspicious activity and strictly enforce access control protocols for all entry and exit points.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate breaches, escort unauthorized personnel off-site, and coordinate emergency responses with relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, surveillance logs, and security equipment inventories while ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
- Liaise effectively with site management, employees, and the Security Manager to resolve security queries and participate in risk management meetings.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent in a relevant field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience in security operations, team supervision, or law enforcement.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV and modern security surveillance equipment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and legal security requirements in Nigeria.
