Key Responsibilities- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts generated by SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, and cloud security platforms.
- Administer and support Microsoft security solutions including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Implement and maintain firewall policies, VPN services, and network security controls using Palo Alto infrastructure.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, track remediation progress, and assist with security hardening initiatives.
- Support Azure security services, including Conditional Access Policies, Network Security Groups, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Maintain operational documentation and support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Proven experience as a Security Operations Engineer or in a similar cybersecurity role.
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR solutions, and cloud security administration, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with network and perimeter security, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft SC-200, Microsoft AZ-500, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or GIAC certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage incident response and triage effectively.
