About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Sectional Head, Instrumentation to join our team in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all instrumentation activities for our Cement Mills and Additive Transport operations, implementing cutting-edge engineering policies, and ensuring optimal plant availability to drive our production excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Review and optimize maintenance projections and schedules for Cement Mills and Additive Transport instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure comprehensive preventive maintenance programs are rigorously implemented according to agreed schedules.
- Monitor the operational effectiveness of maintenance programs, analyze reworks, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Enforce strict safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory compliance within the instrumentation department.
- Provide technical training, professional development, and strong leadership to instrumentation personnel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of demonstrated operating experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- At least 3 years of experience in a management or leadership position.
- In-depth specialized knowledge of Cement Mills, Additive Transport, and VRM system operations and maintenance.
- Advanced expertise in Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) drives operation and maintenance.
