About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Sectional Head, Electrical to join our esteemed team at Dangote Cement Plc. In this critical leadership role, you will provide expert support to electrical operations and maintenance, ensuring all production equipment remains in optimal working condition at the best cost of reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate, monitor, and support the implementation of corrective maintenance at the workshop in collaboration with relevant section heads.
- Ensure all electrical maintenance activities are performed safely and professionally, adhering strictly to industry standards, OEM recommendations, and plant standard operating procedures.
- Oversee technical staff performance, provide advanced technical expertise, and enforce robust occupational health and safety regulations.
- Proffer effective solutions to complex electrical challenges to maximize equipment uptime and overall plant reliability.
- Manage inventory by ensuring the proper safekeeping and utilization of materials, tools, and specialized equipment.
- Enforce strict compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety standards across all electrical operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.Minimum of fifteen (15) years of robust post-qualification experience within heavy industry, preferably cement manufacturing.Expert knowledge of maintenance management methodologies, predictive inspection tools, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Comprehensive understanding of safety legislation, quality standards, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).Exceptional communication, organizational awareness, and team collaboration skills.
