We are currently seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Secondary School Subject Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the minds of young learners, inspiring academic curiosity, and preparing students for future success through engaging instruction and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons in accordance with the Nigerian and British secondary school curricula.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning assessments to monitor student progress.
- Foster an inclusive, disciplined, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Evaluate, grade, and provide constructive feedback on assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate academic records and report student progress effectively to school management and parents during PTA meetings.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development workshops.
- Mentor and guide students in moral, social, and academic aspects of their secondary education journey.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed), B.Sc, B.A, or equivalent relevant academic qualifications in a specialized teaching subject.
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience within a reputable secondary school setting.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern classroom technology and interactive teaching methodologies.
- Possession of a TRCN certification or a recognized teaching diploma is a strong added advantage.
