Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons across various grade levels using both the NERDC and British curricula.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute well-structured lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students regularly.
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning and positive behavior.
  • Incorporate Islamic values, ethics, and discipline seamlessly into daily classroom interactions and mentorship.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, school leadership, and parents to support student holistic development.
  • Participate actively in school activities, extracurricular programs, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Education, Science, or a related scientific discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Proven teaching experience delivering science subjects within the Nigerian NERDC and/or British curricula.
  • Strong subject matter expertise with an engaging teaching style and excellent classroom management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with students, parents, and staff.
  • Genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and instilling strong moral and Islamic values in students.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a reliable team player with a positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
