The Katsina State Government is inviting applications from qualified and passionate individuals for the position of Science and Technical Teachers on Grade Level 08 (GL 08). Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in science and technical subjects to secondary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and evaluation tests in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in school-based extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Must be an indigene of Katsina State, aged between 18 and 49 years.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications in Science, Technology, or Education from recognized and accredited institutions.
- Must present a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Must successfully pass the mandatory merit-based recruitment test to advance in the selection process.
- Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Stable employment on Grade Level 08 within the Katsina State Public Service.
