About the Role
Olam Agri is a market-leading, differentiated food, feed, and fiber agri-business with a global origination footprint and a strong presence in emerging markets. We are currently looking for a talented and driven SAP Controller to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our SAP systems, supporting our expanding business operations across Nigeria. This position demands technical expertise, sharp analytical thinking, and the ability to foster strong collaboration across diverse teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 SAP application support, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues efficiently.
- Manage and prioritize SAP incidents and service requests in strict accordance with defined SLAs and KPIs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Level 1 application support team within a manufacturing setting to ensure rapid issue resolution.
- Coordinate with business users, vendor teams, and internal IT departments to deliver robust application solutions and system enhancements.
- Drive and oversee medium-to-large scale SAP projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Analyze data to generate insightful management reports that empower stakeholders to make informed, strategic decisions.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business terms.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across all application support and IT operational processes.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on, practical experience working with SAP applications.
- Proven track record of managing Level 1 application support teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated aptitude for data analysis, interpretation, and management reporting.
- Extensive experience in leading and successfully delivering IT and SAP-related projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities for stakeholder engagement.
- Prior exposure to Tableau or other Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools is considered a strong advantage.
