About the Role
Beta Glass Plc, a proud member of the Frigoglass Group, is a strategic partner to international beverage bottlers and a major supplier of superior glass packaging solutions across West and Central Africa. We serve diverse sectors including soft drinks, beer, spirits, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, setting new industry standards through excellence and partnership. We are currently looking for a results-driven Sales Executive to join our commercial team in Lagos, Nigeria, to manage and grow our business share within an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Implement account sales plans and planning agreements to achieve annual sales objectives and maintain quarterly dynamic pricing reviews.
- Identify new business opportunities to increase market share of wallet and expand existing customer relationships.
- Review monthly customer account results, analyze deviations, and execute corrective actions to stay aligned with agreed budgets.
- Understand customer cyclical demand to improve service delivery, gather accurate forecasts, and collaborate with demand planners.
- Coordinate deliveries, monitor shipments, and maintain proactive communication with clients to prevent miscommunications.
- Manage working capital by overseeing stock levels, addressing slow-moving inventory, and assisting with payment collections.
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain consistent communication channels on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly demand forecasts to ensure optimal SKU production while minimizing redundant stock.
- Analyze and report on market conditions and competitor activities to management and the broader sales team.
- Negotiate and implement annual business budgets focusing on sales turnover, profitability, and key performance indicators.
- Bachelor degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Sales, or a related commercial field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven B2B sales or commercial experience, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Strong computer literacy, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint presentation.
