About the Role
Meyer Plc, a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-quality architectural, industrial, marine, and specialized protective coatings, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Abuja team. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our market share, promoting our extensive portfolio of superior paints and adhesives, and delivering exceptional value to our diverse clientele across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and develop robust relationships with prospective and existing B2B and retail customers to drive continuous sales growth.
- Generate high-quality leads, establish new business opportunities, and actively promote the company's comprehensive product lineup.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts, successfully close sales deals, and manage key customer accounts with a high standard of professionalism.
- Monitor local market trends, assess emerging business opportunities and competitive risks, and submit comprehensive sales reports to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of cognate sales experience, preferably within the manufacturing, building materials, or chemical sector.
- Demonstrated experience within the paint or coatings industry will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Highly self-motivated with a resilient, results-driven approach and a genuine passion for sales excellence.
- Strong understanding of modern marketing methodologies, B2B sales pipelines, and advanced negotiation techniques.
