As a key member of our Services Safety team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust SHE management systems within the plant and interacting with diverse oil and gas clients.
Key Responsibilities- Establish, document, and maintain legally compliant Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
- Ensure adherence to environmental standards in accordance with defined regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contractor compliance with Sulzer health, safety, and environmental standards through monthly SHE file reviews and site inspections.
- Implement proactive hazard identification strategies via audits, site management walks, and routine inspections.
- Collaborate closely with site supervision to promote safe working areas and hands-on safe working practices.
- Review and update ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 SHE management system procedures and risk assessments.
- Collate, publish, and present Health and Safety statistics to internal management and clients.
- Lead safety campaigns, coordinate safety meetings, and ensure proper Lift Plans and HHA work assessments are in place.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical SHE experience within the oil and gas or electromechanical industries.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from a recognized institution.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC); NEBOSH Diploma is an added advantage.
- ISPON Level 2 and Level 3 Certifications, plus valid ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
- Incident Investigation and First Aid Certificates, alongside a valid Driver's License.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with government regulatory authorities and managing client SHE audits.
