About the Role
TAAS College, Ibadan, a prestigious co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition, is seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Robotics, Innovation & Creativity and ICT Teacher to join our vibrant academic community. In this role, you will empower students to move beyond theoretical concepts and dive into practical problem-solving through coding, robotics, and emerging technologies within our serene and modern learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Robotics, Coding, ICT, Innovation, and Creative Technology to secondary school students using engaging, age-appropriate methods.
- Plan and supervise hands-on projects involving electronics, programming, automation, and digital tools.
- Organize and lead robotics clubs, coding bootcamps, innovation competitions, and student project exhibitions.
- Guide students in designing and developing technology-based solutions for real-world challenges.
- Integrate advanced digital learning tools into classroom teaching and support faculty members.
- Maintain and manage robotics kits, computer labs, software licenses, and electronic components.
- Assess practical and theoretical student performance while maintaining accurate academic records.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, STEM Education, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant teaching or practical work experience in robotics, ICT, coding, or STEM education.
- Strong practical knowledge of platforms such as Arduino, microcontrollers, Scratch, Python, and other programming tools.
- Must reside in Ibadan or be fully willing to relocate close to the Apata/Ibadan axis.
- Exceptional classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
