About the Role
ACE Group is a disruptive strategic consultancy partnering with governments and organizations to tackle health and social inequities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Research Manager to lead end-to-end research initiatives that build sustainable, scalable systems for lasting impact in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate end-to-end delivery of research projects, managing activities, milestones, budgets, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Guide research design, study protocols, tools, and analysis plans in collaboration with technical specialists and partners.
- Coordinate research operations including ethics applications, institutional permissions, site preparation, training, fieldwork, and data management.
- Monitor project progress and timelines, proactively identifying implementation challenges and executing corrective actions.
- Oversee research staff, consultants, and data collection teams to ensure strict adherence to protocols, ethical requirements, and data governance.
- Clinical qualification in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, or a relevant health profession, complemented by a Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience managing complex health research projects or health program research components.
- Demonstrated expertise in maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) research and program delivery.
- Proven experience navigating protocol development, ethics processes, fieldwork, data quality assurance, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong background collaborating with healthcare facilities, government institutions, and academic partners.
