About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited is a leading, wholly indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria, committed to delivering high-quality healthcare products that offer real value. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Research and Development Officer to support our growing R&D department in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Execute processing details for the formulation development of oral solids, oral liquids, and topicals.
- Conduct pre-formulation studies and characterize innovator or reference brands.
- Initiate stability studies for new and existing products, withdrawing and transferring samples to relevant laboratories.
- Follow up on the collation of stability results from Quality Control, In-Process Control, and microbiology units.
- Carry out laboratory trials for the reformulation of existing products and coordinate quality control analysis for new product trials.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documents related to formulation development and departmental objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related science discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of the chemistry of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and excipients.
- Familiarity with validation, qualification, and technology transfer processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
