About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, designing, distributing, and financing innovative solar solutions to millions of homes across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Regional Store Coordinator to join our operations team in Delta State, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in expanding our business reach by ensuring seamless inventory control, efficient warehousing, and operational excellence across our regional stores.
Key Responsibilities- Manage regional warehouse inventory, accurately tracking goods received and maintaining up-to-date stock levels.
- Coordinate with third-party transporters to ensure cost-effective, timely, and safe shipping of goods to Sun King stores.
- Perform serial-based scanning for all incoming and outgoing inventory items.
- Communicate any inventory shortages, thefts, or losses immediately to management and oversee required investigations or police reports.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly on-hand stock and marketing reports for the Country Store Manager and HQ Operations team.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly physical inventory counts across retail stores.
- Supervise Sun King Store Executives (SSEs) to ensure strict adherence to company policies, shop etiquette, cleanliness, and legal compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to SSEs and temporarily fill in for them during medical or personal leaves.
- Receive faulty products from stores and coordinate safe shipments back to the central warehouse.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive work experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management within a multinational organization.
- Advanced computer literacy, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience utilizing ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and reporting skills with sound judgment.
