About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing reliable power to over 82 million customers across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dedicated Regional Solar Installation & Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Ijebu Ode, Ogun East. In this pivotal field role, you will ensure exceptional technical service delivery, manage third-party installer networks, and uphold the highest standards of solar system performance and customer satisfaction across your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities- Execute high-quality installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of Sun King solar inverter systems within the Ogun East region.
- Utilise remote monitoring platforms to proactively track system performance, diagnose issues, and prevent potential failures.
- Conduct routine on-site and remote installation audits for internal teams and third-party partners to ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Onboard, train, and manage third-party installers to expand service coverage and technical capabilities within the zone.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, inventory of spare parts, and submit comprehensive periodic reports to the After-Sales Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in after-sales service delivery and technical support within the solar inverter, electronic consumer goods, or mobile device industry.
- Strong hands-on expertise in solar PV systems, electrical wiring standards, power electronics, and diagnostic software.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of maintaining composure and delivering excellent customer service under pressure.
