About the Role
Jaza Energy, a leading last-mile solar energy company, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Service Engineer to oversee technical operations and lead a team of Field Service Engineers across our expanding South-West Nigeria network, currently centered in Ondo State. In this critical role, you will ensure maximum energy uptime, maintain robust technical infrastructure, and drive performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee Field Service Engineers in setting up new solar hubs, ensuring seamless connectivity and conducting routine system maintenance.
- Lead and mentor technical teams through regular training sessions, adherence to protocols, and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regional Coordinators, the NOC data team, and international management to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Review energy performance reports and collate comprehensive monthly reports for executive management.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all regional technical operations.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on technical and engineering leadership experience within the solar energy, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in solar installation, electrical design, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing field teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel significantly within Nigeria to support regional expansion.
