About the Role
Jaza Energy, the last-mile energy company building solar charging stations and battery rentals in off-grid communities, is seeking an exceptional Regional Service Engineer (RSE) for Abia State. In this pivotal role, you will manage a team of Field Service Engineers, direct technical operations, and ensure uninterrupted power across our regional hubs during an exciting phase of rapid expansion in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee Field Service Engineers (FSEs) in setting up new hubs, ensuring seamless connectivity, and conducting preventive maintenance.
- Lead and coach the technical team on best practices through regular training and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Regional Coordinators, the NOC data team, and management to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Review hub energy performance reports and compile comprehensive monthly analytics for executive leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all sites.
- Minimum of 6 years of technical and engineering leadership experience in the energy, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Strong, proven expertise in solar energy systems, electrical design, installation, and maintenance.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, reporting software, and the MS Office suite.
- Valid ability to travel frequently within Nigeria to support regional expansion.
