About the Role
Heirs Insurance Ltd is a leading general insurance company challenging traditional standards by providing simple, accessible protection for vehicles, homes, and businesses. We are currently seeking an experienced and visionary Regional Head to oversee our Abuja and North Central operations. In this strategic middle-management role reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the regional sales and distribution teams, champion exceptional customer experiences, and accelerate our market expansion across retail, corporate, and broker channels in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional growth strategy aligned with the overarching corporate objectives of Heirs Insurance Ltd.
- Drive aggressive market expansion across retail, corporate, and broker distribution channels within the North Central region.
- Build, mentor, and supervise high-performing regional sales and branch teams to ensure optimal service delivery and operational excellence.
- Strengthen strategic partnerships, manage key accounts, and foster robust relationships with brokers and corporate clients.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry regulatory requirements, internal corporate policies, and maintain a robust risk management environment.
- Represent the company proactively in regional industry forums, corporate events, and stakeholder engagements.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in general business insurance, with proven exposure to corporate and institutional markets.
- Professional insurance qualifications such as the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) are highly desirable.
