About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Qur'an & Arabic Language Teacher to join our esteemed academic team and help shape the moral and intellectual foundation of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Qur'anic recitation with Tajweed, memorization (Hifz), and Tafsir tailored to students' age and academic levels.
- Deliver engaging Arabic language lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
- Prepare students comprehensively for internal assessments, NECO BECE, and Lagos State BECE examinations.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and utilize modern teaching aids to enhance language acquisition and student engagement.
- Educate students on Islamic history, ethics, and teachings while mentoring them in personal development.
- Maintain discipline, positive classroom management, and accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and provide constructive feedback to parents regarding student progress.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Qur'anic studies, Tajweed, or Arabic pedagogy is highly desirable.
- Proven experience teaching Arabic and Islamic studies in a secondary school setting.
- Familiarity with the NECO BECE and Lagos State BECE Arabic curricula.
- Strong moral character with a deep commitment to Islamic values and ethics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
