We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality & Safety Manager to lead our quality assurance, quality control, and health and safety functions across our project sites. In this critical role, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards, strengthen safety compliance, lead inspection teams, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee rigorous quality inspections of incoming materials and ongoing construction activities.
- Develop and implement robust Quality Inspection Plans (QIPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Lead quality and HSE teams to ensure strict compliance with approved industry standards and safety requirements.
- Manage non-conformances, conduct internal audits, drive corrective actions, and lead thorough incident investigations.
- Maintain comprehensive quality and safety documentation for smooth project handover and client reviews.
- Exercise stop-work authority immediately where unsafe or non-conforming activities are identified on site.
- B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 10 to 12 years of progressive experience in quality management, with substantial background in solar, power, renewable energy, or EPC projects.
- Proven expertise in quality inspections, developing QIPs/ITPs, and implementing site safety management protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management frameworks.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent recognized safety certifications will be a distinct advantage.
- Willingness to travel and spend extended periods at various project sites across Nigeria.
