About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and analytical Quality Control Officer to join our vibrant team in Ilupeju, Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining operational excellence, driving cost-reduction initiatives, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities- Collate and execute exception reports and performance metrics accurately and promptly as required by the team leader.
- Identify formal and informal training needs and upskill continuously through workshops, presentations, and internal communications.
- Drive innovative ideas and implementation strategies to significantly reduce operating costs.
- Collaborate with the team leader to develop and continuously improve ledger operations for high-level output.
- Apply Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to maximize throughput and optimize ledger processes.
- Maintain cooperative and supportive working relationships with cross-functional team members.
- Stay fully abreast of new company policies, procedures, and industry accounting standards at all times.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Finance and Accounting (minimum of Second Class Lower; Third Class and Pass are not accepted).
- Maximum age of 27 years.
- 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong computer literacy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of standard accounting software packages.
- Must be willing and able to work on-site in Ilupeju, Lagos State.
