About the Role
ABNL Limited, a leading indigenous oil and gas servicing company in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Projects - Start-Up Specialist II to join our dynamic team. In this critical field execution role, you will leverage your expertise in disciplines such as Rotating Machinery, Electrical, Process, or Instrumentation to ensure seamless project commissioning and continuous operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Project Team, Affiliate Operations, and contractors to ensure all start-up and continuous operation requirements are strictly met.
- Work closely with the Start-Up Coordinator and Start-Up Manager to guarantee that operational excellence and incident-free expectations are successfully achieved.
- Support the development and execution of comprehensive project start-up plans and downstream start-up procedures.
- Serve as the primary technical focal point for interfacing with Operations, Integrated Commissioning, and Facility Engineering Teams.
- Provide unit-specific expertise during the planning phase and offer guidance to production coordinators throughout the start-up lifecycle.
- Relevant professional experience in a closely related oil and gas start-up or commissioning role.
- Discipline-appropriate professional certifications or equivalent technical experience.
- Proficiency in Work Management Systems and Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Working knowledge of Project Completions activities and commissioning software such as WinPCS, MC+, CoConsole, or Orbit.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
