We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to join our high-performing team and spearhead critical banking and fintech initiatives across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management lifecycles from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closing for complex initiatives including core banking upgrades, mobile applications, and agency banking rollouts.
  • Manage seamless product rollouts such as micro-loans, group lending, POS banking, and USSD solutions in close collaboration with marketing and risk teams.
  • Oversee core banking integration processes, connecting systems with NIBSS, CBN, NIMC, BVN, credit bureaus, and diverse payment gateways.
  • Drive process re-engineering by mapping current workflows, designing optimized future states, and implementing automation to drastically reduce loan turnaround times.
  • Ensure stringent adherence to regulatory mandates, successfully driving CBN and AML/CFT compliance projects.
  • Maintain strict control over project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk registers while actively managing cross-functional stakeholder alignment across business, IT, and operations units.
  • Manage fintech vendors and external contractors, ensuring robust Service Level Agreements and optimal value delivery.
  • Conduct thorough post-implementation reviews to track revenue growth, cost savings, and customer adoption rates 3 to 6 months post-launch.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower or an HND with Upper Credit division in any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, including at least three (3) years specifically managing projects within a commercial bank, fintech firm, or financial services institution; Microfinance Bank (MFB) experience is a strong advantage.
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is an added advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CBN Microfinance Bank guidelines, AML/CFT regulations, agency banking frameworks, and national financial inclusion strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, Microsoft Office suites, and modern project management software.
  • Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
