About the Role
La Fayette Microfinance Bank Limited (Advans Nigeria) is a leading institution dedicated to providing comprehensive financial services to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in urban Nigeria. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Management Officer to join our high-performing team and support our strategic expansion and operational projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of comprehensive project plans, schedules, timelines, and deliverables across departments.
- Track project progress against approved plans, budgets, and timelines while maintaining updated project dashboards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, prepare periodic status reports, and manage project registers and databases.
- Liaise with internal departments, external consultants, and vendors to facilitate effective communication and task execution.
- Identify potential project risks and implementation challenges, maintaining risk registers and supporting mitigation plans.
- Support project budget preparation, track expenditures, and highlight potential budget overruns or resource constraints.
- Ensure projects are implemented in alignment with approved organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination, administration, or monitoring within the financial services or corporate sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in project management software, dashboards, and Microsoft Office Suite.
