About the Role
WTS Energy is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our operations in Nigeria, acting as the crucial technical bridge between client asset teams and maintenance execution contractors. You will manage end-to-end brownfield modifications, shutdown activities, and maintenance campaigns, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive work packs, including method statements, risk assessments, and material bills of quantities for maintenance campaigns.
- Manage sub-contractors and oversee constructability reviews to eliminate clashes in live plant environments.
- Drive Management of Change processes, track long-lead items, and conduct technical bid evaluations.
- Ensure full adherence to Oil and Gas Golden Rules of Safety, Permit to Work systems, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project costs, prepare Value of Work Done reports, and track timesheets and invoicing.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector, with at least 3 years in a brownfield or maintenance environment.
- Proven participation in at least one major plant turnaround or shutdown.
- Familiarity with SIMOPS, HAZOP, Schedule of Rates, and quality control documentation.
- Professional engineering certification such as COREN is an added advantage.
