About the Role
Aldelia Limited is currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Project Civil Engineer Coordinator to manage our facilities and infrastructure projects in Nigeria. In this vital in-house role, you will act as the primary technical authority, driving the complete project lifecycle from initial conceptual planning and cost estimation through to procurement, site supervision, commissioning, and final handover.
Key Responsibilities- Translate management requirements into clear project scopes, implementation strategies, execution plans, and accurate bills of quantities.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Provide rigorous day-to-day construction supervision across various sites in Abuja and Port Harcourt to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and budget.
- Conduct comprehensive QA/QC inspections, identify non-conformances, and enforce strict HSE standards on all project sites.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, manage contractor and consultant relationships, and maintain robust audit trails and as-built documentation.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), with Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) membership strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 to 8 years of cognate post-qualification experience in construction supervision, project execution, or infrastructure management within corporate or oil and gas environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools, alongside strong technical knowledge of local and international design codes.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to travel regularly between project locations.
