Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Software Engineering.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, delivering engaging and industry-relevant lectures.
- Supervise postgraduate students at the Master and Ph.D. levels.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Actively secure research grants, fellowships, and external funding opportunities for the university.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to enhance curriculum relevance and practical learning.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Possess a Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching, research, and administrative experience in a tertiary institution.
- Show evidence of strong academic leadership with at least 25 scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Have a proven track record of successfully supervising postgraduate students.
