Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Nursing Science.
- Teach, inspire, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students using modern pedagogical techniques.
- Drive high-impact research agendas and publish groundbreaking findings in reputable local and international journals.
- Develop, review, and enhance the nursing curriculum to meet contemporary global healthcare standards and digital health trends.
- Collaborate with university management, faculty members, and external healthcare stakeholders to foster strategic partnerships.
- Supervise postgraduate student dissertations and participate actively in departmental and university-wide committees.
- Possess a terminal degree (Ph.D.) with a specialization in Nursing or a closely related healthcare discipline.
- Demonstrate a robust track record of academic excellence, institutional leadership, and administrative competence.
- Bring a minimum of twelve (12) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Exhibit strong digital literacy and modern technological skills relevant to contemporary nursing education and research.
- Maintain a substantial portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
