Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established on the African continent, is seeking a distinguished and dynamic Professor of Microbiology to join our esteemed academic community. Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Microbiology.
- Design, update, and deliver rigorous undergraduate and postgraduate curricula that align with global academic standards.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish extensively in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure external research grants.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research theses and dissertations.
- Mentor junior faculty members and foster a collaborative, intellectually stimulating departmental culture.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and academic governance.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Microbiology or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Evidence of a robust academic portfolio with at least 15 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive teaching, research, and administrative experience in a recognized university setting.
