Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong academic and professional leadership in the Department of Computer Science.
  • Initiate, supervise, and direct undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
  • Design, review, and update curriculum content to meet global industry standards and ICT trends.
  • Teach advanced computer science courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to departmental administrative duties.
  • Engage in robust research and publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related relevant field.
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of cumulative full-time teaching and research experience in a university.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, drive, and supervise impactful research projects.
  • A strong track record of significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable outlets.
  • Active membership in relevant professional bodies.
  • Proficiency in ICT with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools and technologies.
