Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and professional leadership in the Department of Computer Science.
- Initiate, supervise, and direct undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
- Design, review, and update curriculum content to meet global industry standards and ICT trends.
- Teach advanced computer science courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Mentor junior faculty members and contribute to departmental administrative duties.
- Engage in robust research and publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related relevant field.
- A minimum of twelve (12) years of cumulative full-time teaching and research experience in a university.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, drive, and supervise impactful research projects.
- A strong track record of significant peer-reviewed scholarly publications in reputable outlets.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Proficiency in ICT with demonstrable competence in digital learning tools and technologies.
- Competitive salary structured on the KDUTSS 07 scale, applicable in Nigerian Federal Universities.
