Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established on the African continent, invites applications for the position of Professor of Biochemistry. We are seeking an accomplished academic leader to drive our biochemistry department forward through exceptional teaching, innovative research, and visionary departmental leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic and administrative leadership for the Department of Biochemistry.
- Design, update, and deliver comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in biochemistry.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and secure external research grants.
- Mentor junior academic staff and supervise undergraduate and graduate student research theses.
- Engage in institutional governance, departmental committees, and community development initiatives.
- Foster strategic academic partnerships with industry stakeholders and global research institutions.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Evidence of a minimum of 15 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- At least 10 years of progressive teaching, research, and administrative experience within a recognized university system.
