We are currently seeking a visionary and accomplished Professor of Anatomy to join our esteemed faculty, shape our medical curriculum, and mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Anatomy by developing and updating curricula in compliance with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards.
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed scholarly journals, and secure research grants.
- Mentor junior faculty members, graduate teaching assistants, and students to foster academic and professional growth.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to institutional governance and quality assurance.
- Engage in community service and professional outreach programs that enhance the university's visibility and societal impact.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Anatomy or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Evidence of a minimum of 15 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- At least 10 years of progressive teaching, research, and administrative experience within a recognized university system.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and establish academic collaborations is an added advantage.
