Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established in Africa and fully accredited by the NUC, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Professor of Agriculture to join our esteemed faculty. Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic leadership within the Department of Agriculture, shaping curriculum development and institutional growth.
- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical training to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Spearhead groundbreaking agricultural research, secure research grants, and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentor junior faculty members and supervise postgraduate students in their research theses and dissertations.
- Engage in impactful community service and agricultural outreach programs that drive regional development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees to ensure academic standards are maintained.
- Must possess a Ph.D. in Agriculture or a closely relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Evidence of at least 15 scholarly publications in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive teaching, research, and administrative experience in a tertiary institution, preferably at a university level.
- Demonstrated ability to attract research funding and establish academic partnerships.
