Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops in compliance with university quality standards.
- Develop innovative curricula and course materials for delivery across multiple learning platforms.
- Conduct high-impact academic research, write grant proposals, and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
- Set, administer, and grade assignments, tests, and examinations accurately and fairly.
- Collaborate with faculty members to continuously improve teaching methodologies and expand the institutional knowledge base.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, academic conferences, and university-wide committees.
- Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and support to students and junior colleagues.
- Must currently hold the rank of Reader with an earned Ph.D. degree from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in university teaching, research, and academic administration.
- A strong publication record in high-impact, reputable scholarly journals.
- Proven track record of successful undergraduate and postgraduate student supervision.
- Active membership or affiliation with relevant professional bodies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
