About the Role
Erisco Foods Limited is a premier indigenous food manufacturing company in Nigeria, renowned for quality brands like Nagiko and Ric-Giko. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Production Technician with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems to join our dynamic production team in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our manufacturing lines operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently to meet daily output targets.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical production equipment.
- Follow strict production schedules to ensure timely delivery and adherence to manufacturing deadlines.
- Monitor production and electrical systems to guarantee full compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to verify that all manufactured products meet company specifications.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and protocols at all times on the factory floor.
- Maintain accurate daily production records and logs for operational reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve productivity targets.
- Associate Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field is preferred.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on work experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or fast-paced production environment.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining complex electrical and mechanical production equipment.
- Deep understanding of industrial safety procedures and regulatory standards.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to quality control.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work on rotating shifts and overtime as required by operational demands.
- Must reside within Ikeja, Alausa, and its immediate environs.
