About the Role
The Bible Society of Nigeria seeks a dedicated Production & Programmes Officer to support our mission of Bible distribution and youth engagement. Since our establishment in 1966, we have been instrumental in making Scripture accessible across Nigeria and West Africa. You will play a vital role in managing our logistics operations while coordinating impactful programmes that connect young people with the Bible's message.
Key Responsibilities- Manage shipping documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems for all operational records
- Coordinate marine insurance coverage for Bible shipments to ensure product protection
- Plan and conduct Bible Competitions from Area to National levels
- Initiate and coordinate programmes and activities across all BSN administrative levels
- Organize workshops and seminars for Area Officers and church youth leaders
- Collaborate with Christian and secular youth organizations to promote Scripture relevance
- Represent BSN at youth camps and conferences as an organizational spokesperson
- Work alongside Area Youth Officers to implement and monitor youth-focused programmes
- Drive Scripture distribution initiatives targeting young people nationwide
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in programme coordination, logistics, or related areas
- Strong numeracy skills with excellent organizational abilities
- Detail-oriented, energetic, and capable of maintaining confidentiality
- Professional body membership is advantageous
