About the Role
Juhel Nigeria Limited, a pioneer pharmaceutical manufacturer in West Africa founded in 1987, is seeking a talented Production Pharmacist specializing in Oral Dosage Forms to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality essential medicines that save lives across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in line with approved manufacturing schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.
- Monitor comprehensive production processes including dispensing, tableting, filling, packaging, and labeling.
- Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of batch manufacturing records and regulatory documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments to guarantee product excellence.
- Monitor production equipment functionality and ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and usage protocols.
- Identify, document, and report production deviations, non-conformities, and process-related issues promptly.
- Enforce personal hygiene, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and optimal housekeeping standards.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Valid registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
- Proficiency in productivity tools including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and pharmaceutical production workflows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with high integrity and attention to detail.
