About the Role
Tyonex Nigeria Limited, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing company with our corporate headquarters in Lagos, is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Production Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our state-of-the-art production facilities, ensuring that all pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products are manufactured to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficacy in alignment with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production activities to meet corporate targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements set by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
- Monitor production processes continuously to optimize product quality, minimize waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the proper utilization, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment and raw materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Quality Control department to resolve deviations and maintain product integrity.
- Supervise, train, and mentor production floor staff to foster a culture of safety and excellence.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a current practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or production.
- Sound, practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and modern pharmaceutical production processes.
